5d4eaf07-abc5-4cd5-a225-b393d7dccc0a-677152All works associated with the upgrade of the following three junctions, including introduction of cycle priority measures: T1: Talbot Road / White City Way, T2-1 Talbot Road / Great Stone Road T2-2 Talbot Road / A56 Chester Road Junction Upgrade Requirement includes installation of new kerbing, signal infrastructure and surfacing to reconfigure existing signalised junctions, to provide cycle and pedestrian facilities on all arms in the form of a CYCLOPS signalised junction. Following a mini competition process through Lot 7 - Civils [of the Stockport and Bury Framework Agreement for Highway Related Services], 2 bids were received. Due to some delays with regards to funding, formalised re-pricing exercises took place in September and April through the Chest. After evaluation of bids, Trafford Council determined that George Cox and Sons Limited are the winning bidders based on Most Advantageous Tender (MAT).
