772dad27-4cd6-4b51-840c-4fe19d2de778-763764A two-stage traditional competitive tender was run under the Council's own North West Contractor Framework (DN535239) Lot 6 (Infrastructure) to appoint a contractor for early contractor involvement with the design team before executing refurbishment works on the 1970s Manchester Street Viaduct located at the junction of the A62 Manchester Street and the A627 Oldham Way. Only contractors on the Framework Lot were eligible to participate using the Council's e-tendering system. The mini-competition utilized the Social Value Portal. The contract suite used is the NEC4 Professional Services Contract (amended) to facilitate early contractor engagement (ECI) followed by the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract Option A (priced main works contract with an activity schedule). Note the contract dates entered in this Contracts Finder Notice are intended to indicate the time period of both the ECI and main works contracts, although the latter is subject to agreement on completion of the former. The works are to be part funded by City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) grant monies.
