060637-2026NHS England, Highly Specialised Services (referred to as the Commissioner) is awarding to suitably qualified and experienced providers for the Provision of Amyloidosis Networked Model of Care services, following a Competitive Process. NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) is acting as an agent for and on behalf of the Commissioner and is supporting the provider selection process.<br/><br/>Amyloidosis is the name for a group of rare, serious conditions caused by a build-up of an abnormal protein, called amyloid, in organs and tissues throughout the body. The build-up of amyloid proteins (deposits) can make it difficult for the organs and tissues to work properly.<br/><br/>The key objectives of the Competitive Process was to commission a networked model of care for Amyloidosis services to establish four regional centres under this initial process. This is to ensure a good level of access in place that is able to meet the expected demand for the service. <br/><br/>The regional centres are proposed to be in the:<br/>• Lot 2 - Midlands<br/>• Lot 3 - North West
