  As an optional extra, the Contrating Authority requires a specification and costing for the installation of a rapid-access, high capacity image archive compatible with the Total Body PET-CT system, suitable for storing up to 1 petabyte of image data. The specification should include installation of the high bandwidth connection between the associated scanner workstations to enable rapid archiving and retrieval. We are still exploring options for archive provision, and would like further information about the requirements of such an archive for this TB PET-CT system and the cost of the scanner manufacturer providing this system as part of the scanner purchase.
