009752-2026The Borough Council is seeking the services of a suitably skilled and experienced consultant to undertake a Review of the whole borough Landscape Character Assessment, including Townscape/Urban Character in line with the guidance set out in An Approach to Landscape Character Assessment. The second part of the commission is to undertake Landscape Sensitivity and Capacity Assessment for potential strategic housing, employment and mixed use allocations within the Borough. The purpose of this Study is to provide the Borough Council with an understanding of the landscape capacity of potential developments to inform the Local Plan. The project will comprise of a desk based analysis, site assessment with corresponding outputs at each stage. The final document will include map and text based landscape sensitivity and capacity assessment for each site.
