  Great Places may exercise the following options during the procurement phase: i. Great Places may alter or amend the tender notice to ensure it remains compliant with the Procurement Act 2023. ii. GPHG's may alter, before the submission deadline for Stage 1, the CFP description, stages or evaluation if this is proportionate based on clarifications received. iii. Great Places may abandon this procurement process at any time. It shall have no liability whatsoever to any Potential Providers, should it elect to abandon this procurement exercise. iv. Great Places may alter the procurement timetable at its discretion. v. Great Places may withdraw at any stage, where there is not a minimum of two compliant Potential Providers. vi. To clarify any part of a submission received at any stage. vii. To use alternative electronic means of receiving tenders or communication in the event of technical difficulties with the e-tender platform during the Competitive Flexible Procedure. Contingency for Central Digital Platform (Find a Tender Service) Failure: i. In the event that the Find a Tender Service (FTS) or associated central digital platform is unavailable or experiencing significant disruption, the Great Places reserves the right to utilise alternative publication and communication routes in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Procurement Regulations 2024. ii. Where such contingency measures are implemented, the Great Places will ensure that all relevant information, including procurement notices, updates and any amendments to timescales (including standstill periods), are communicated transparently and directly to all participants via alternative means. iii. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they remain accessible via the contact details provided and acknowledge that, in such circumstances, formal notifications may be issued outside of the FTS or e-tender platform. Great Places may exercise the following options during the Contract Period: i. The scope may be amended or contract modified (increased, decreased or added functionality) for services or goods that are in keeping with the nature of the contract for presently unknown variables, such as: > to support other departments within Great Places > to help to meet carbon net zero objectives > supporting any incoming or new regulatory and legislative changes > in cases of urgency > in cases of an alternative contract failure or termination > in cases of Great Places staff absence or illness > in the event of merger or acquisition > upon materialisation of a known risk ii. in the event Great Places acquires additional stock, e.g. through merger, contract or other acquisition, then Great Places reserves the right to extend the contract by a further period of 3 years and up to 50% annual value. iii. Great Places reserves the right to require enhancements, upgrades or changes to the solution to reflect: > increase or decrease user numbers, licences or service volumes > add or remove modules or functionality within the scope of the solution > benchmark pricing and require adjustments where costs are no longer representative of market rates. > changes in technology platforms > system upgrades or product roadmap developments > organisational transformation requirements All bids are to remain valid for acceptance for a period of 6 months.
