052738-2026Provision of Mortuary Services at Brighton City Mortuary (Woodvale Crematorium) This is a new UK7 CDN replacing ref no: 2026/S 000-052680 due to admin error of incorrect contract term dates. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. ESCC is responsible for funding and supporting the East Sussex Coroner. As part of this responsibility ESCC needs to ensure that Coroner's bodies can be appropriately stored pending a decision as to whether a postmortem examination (PM) is to be carried out and in suitable premises where a PM can take place if required. Total Contract value is £264,000* (£88,000 * per annum) * Estimated as demand led. A 2 year contract term from 01/01/2026 to 31/12/2027. Awarded following PSR Direct Award Process A.
