078574-2026Sustained employment, along with accommodation is one of the 2 key factors in reducing reoffending for many. Bridge of Hope have a history of working with those with convictions. They work with employers and disadvantaged groups to broker employment opportunities for those from disadvantaged groups, including offenders. This service aims to run for 6 months and work specifically with people on probation in South Central to support them into employment opportunities as well as with employers in the region to encourage them to consider employing people with criminal convictions. They will do this by: • Communicating with and assisting all people on probation signposted or referred over this period. • Meeting and interviewing 20 people on probation per month and assist them in their employment journey with guidance, CV preparation, online applications, portal registration and interview advice. Face to face in Reading and via Teams elsewhere • Target 3-5 Client employers, with regional vacancies, and suggest they prioritise reviews of people on probations applications. • Monitor progress and produce activity analysis reports.
